There are so many stories about music that need to be told. Stories of sacrifice, sweat, and persistence. Stories of collaboration, luck, and serendipity. Stories of inspiration, excitement, and triumph. We want to tell some of those stories.
MUSIFilms℠ has projects in development and we look forward to talking about them soon. Stay tuned.
We also supply the film, television, and media industries with expert advice on how to ensure realism in filmed scenes that depict places and activity set in the music world. For example, sets for recording studios, record label and record executive offices, concert stages, dressing rooms, rehearsal studios, award shows, and more. Consultation can also be provided on storylines, dialogue, and other details to ensure realism.
Tap into the knowledge base of music industry experts with over 45 years of experience on-stage, in studios, record industry offices, at awards shows, and more. We can help you achieve the accuracy you’re looking for to avoid set errors that can ruin your creative presentation and confuse your audience.
Through our associated music memorabilia business MusicGoldmine.com and other sources we also have 100s of real music industry items – vintage and otherwise – that can be rented or purchased as props or set design elements: Music awards of all kinds, instruments, recording equipment, stage gear and more. Sample Client Story: A set designer contacted us and they were working on the 2022 Sony Pictures film Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody. The film was set to star Naomi Ackerman as Whitney Houston, Stanley Tucci as record exec Clive Davis, and Ashton Sanders as Bobby Brown. We advised the client on the décor for “Davis’s” office, which needed to contain period-appropriate record awards on the walls. We also provided a genuine, period-appropriate Whitney Houston RIAA® Multi-Platinum™ award used in a scene that was to take place in Houston’s home.
